The New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH) is seeking an Associate Director to direct safety and health education, training, research, and advocacy work in the Metropolitan New York area. Candidate must have a background in safety and health and labor, and managerial and supervisory experience. A Democratic Senator on the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee is looking for a Counsel/Professional staff, preferably on with a law degree.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing legislative and policy proposals; agency oversight; drafting policy memoranda; attending constituent and stakeholder meetings; and preparing for Congressional hearings and floor debate. The Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU) is seeking a health and safety trainer. RWDSU, an affiliate of UFCW, represents workers throughout much of the United States working in a wide variety of occupations that range from food processing to retail to manufacturing to service and health care.
