(WBFF) &#8211; A longtime Perryville volunteer <a href=\"http:\/\/foxbaltimore.com\/news\/local\/fatal-crash-reported-on-i-95-in-cecil-county\">died while operating a tow truck<\/a> Sunday morning on I-95 in Cecil County, just north of the Millard Tydings Bridge over the Susquehanna River. <strong>Brian Williams<\/strong> has &#8220;been a member of this company continuously since 1985,&#8221; said Perryville Mayor Jim Eberhardt, noting that Williams was serving as a fire lieutenant and EMS captain. &#8220;He was a volunteer in the community for a long, long time, in many different areas.&#8221; He was also a member of Collette&#8217;s Service Center, working as a tow-truck driver. USA Fanter was contracted by the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to install a new pump for the wastewater lift station near Agingan Point.\u00a0The Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services said at 11:11 a.m. on Friday, it received a call from the Department of Public Safety 911 dispatch reporting that a man had fallen down the main sewer well at Pakpak Beach in San Antonio. \u201cThe first victim had collapsed while inside the manhole. The ladder became displaced the employee fell and sustained head trauma at approximately 11:19 AM. LDOTD reports Featherston had worked at the agency for 24 years.<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 usercontent\">\n<h3>Worker dies after he&#8217;s stung by swarm of bees in Thermal date orchard<\/h3>\n<p>Thermal, CA &#8211; A man working at a date orchard in Riverside County died this week <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-ln-farm-worker-dies-bees-date-orchard-20170705-story.html\">after being stung by a swarm of bees<\/a>, his family and fire officials said. <strong>Gerardo Balbuena<\/strong>, 49, was working the fields at a date palm orchard in Thermal just after 9 a.m. Monday when he came across a beehive, said his daughter, Marilou Balbuena. He was stung by at least 30 bees, she said. After he was attacked, Balbuena went into cardiac arrest, said Tawny Cabral, a spokeswoman for the Riverside County Fire Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Balbuena\u2019s official cause of death has not been determined. The Thermal resident\u2019s daughter said he was allergic to bee stings.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"headline\" class=\"headline\">Police Officer Is \u2018Murdered for Her Uniform\u2019 in the Bronx<\/h3>\n<p class=\"headline\">NEW YORK &#8211; A New York City police officer was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/newswires\/new-york\/new-york-police-officer-assassinated-gunman-official-article-1.3302499\">shot dead <\/a>early on Wednesday morning by a gunman who was killed by police as he ran from the scene, an attack the city&#8217;s top police official called an assassination. While trying to help, Johnson was struck by another vehicle moments later. The 60-year-old Johnson was killed instantly.<\/p>\n<header class=\"article-head \">\n<h3>Truck driver killed in Saturday accident<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"article-body flex desktop\">\n<div class=\"components\">\n<p>TROY TOWNSHIP, IL \u00a0\u2013 A semitrailer driver from Princeton was killed Saturday when his truck <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theherald-news.com\/2017\/07\/03\/truck-driver-killed-in-saturday-accident\/aqt4uia\/\">collided with another vehicle<\/a> and tumbled into a ravine. The driver was identified as <strong>Mark L. Booth<\/strong> on Monday by the Will County Coroner&#8217;s office. Booth was traveling westbound on Interstate 80 when the accident occurred in a Troy Township section of the highway. He was pronounced dead at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"entry-title\">Man Killed In Trench Collapse Identified<\/h3>\n<p>BECKER CO., Minn. \u2014 We now know the name of a man <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kvrr.com\/2017\/07\/02\/man-killed-trench-collapse-identified\/\">killed in a trench collapse<\/a> in Becker County on Friday. Authorities say he was 25-year-old <strong>Donovan Weber<\/strong> of Ogema. Weber became trapped in the trench at a farm near Richwood, Minnesota when the trench suddenly collapsed. Co-workers attempted to free him from the trench. After lifesaving efforts were performed, he was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<div class=\"w_col w_C640 w_D980\">\n<div class=\"wrap give\">\n<hgroup>\n<h3>Man found dead at Eugene Country Club identified<\/h3>\n<\/hgroup>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"BodyText-BodyText\">Eugene, OR &#8212; Authorities have identified <strong>Ronald Schulty<\/strong> as the man who died on Monday in a <a href=\"http:\/\/registerguard.com\/rg\/news\/local\/35740092-75\/man-found-dead-at-eugene-country-club-identified.html.csp\">work-related accident<\/a> at the Eugene Country Club.
