Following numerous inquiries to OSHA, I received a cryptic note on Friday, telling me that\u00a0\u201cThe REP has been extended.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Great!<\/p>\n<p>Except it hasn&#8217;t been extended, at least not yet. OSHA&#8217;s webpage listing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/dep\/leps\/leps.html\">Local Emphasis Programs<\/a> still lists the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/dep\/leps\/RegionIV\/reg4_fy2016_auto_parts_REP.pdf\">expired REP<\/a>, and OSHA&#8217;s policy is that no inspections can take place under an emphasis program until it is posted on the web.<\/p>\n<p>So what&#8217;s happening here?
