They’re not mutually exclusive: We need both protective standards along with strong enforcement, as well as cooperative safety.
Agree. Regulations (OSHA and others) are drowning Americans, both individuals and businesses. Many have little effective impact on true workplace safety and health.
I think the thousands of workers whose lives are saved every year because of OSHA regulations would disagree.
Have been trying to get US folks to pay attention to the UK slogan and campaign. Lots to learn from them. Too bad no one from the campaign was at the COSH conference.
